Ceremonial Red is the early work of the Master of Curvismo, Ricardo Chavez-Mendez. Even though Curvismo was in its inception, the style still manifested no name but it was these early works that were the basis for the On Sacred Ground Series. Born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, self-taught artist, Ricardo Chavez-Mendez moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 28.
